A standard winterization for a towable RV is focused on protecting the water system from freezing damage during cold weather. Standard RV Winterization Drain and flush the black tank and gray tank (if requested and available) Drain the fresh water tank Drain the water heater and remove the drain plug/anode rod Bypass the water heater Open low-point drains and remove water from the plumbing system Blow out water lines with compressed air (optional but recommended) Pump RV antifreeze through the plumbing system Kitchen sink Bathroom sink Shower Toilet Exterior shower (if equipped) Washer hookups (if equipped) Ice maker line (if equipped) Pour antifreeze into all P-traps and drains Verify all faucets and valves are protected
